Dear mark I am only 12 and I love any thing that moves I don't really live were any venomous reptiles except the timber rattler and the cotton mouth and copperhead do though. But I happened to run into two snakes the other day and one was a one I have never seen looking and could not tell what it was I spent hours looking all over in books and on the internet. It sure did like to strike. It had a blue diamonded back and an orange diamonds on it as well. It HAD NO FANGS so my dad said it was a garter snake but I know this was not a garter snake FOR SURE. Do you have any ideas what it could be?

My friends think I am crazy over picking up every animal I see and I want to be herpetologist four things I just wanted 2 know from you. There are many rumors saying that the Boomslang has taken over the fear snake (inland taipan) what do you think is the deadliest snake is? Have you ever been bitten by a venomous snake and if so which one? And who do you admire other than yourself Steve Irwin or Jeff Corwin? And what is your favorite snake mine is the eyelash viper and fertile lance and Gaboon viper.
