EXPO INFORMATION AND RULES
Visitors:
1) Admission is $10 per person; children six years and under attending with an adult are free.
2) Your Expo wristband must be worn in plain sight and is your pass to all Expo functions Saturday and Sunday. Wristbands cannot be shared or resold.
3) Baby strollers are not allowed in display area.
4) No smoking inside the Ocean Center.
5) No live mammals or birds are allowed inside the Expo.
6) Only official exhibitors are permitted to sell animals at the Expo.
7) All animals must be kept in secure containers.
8) Animals taken out of the display area cannot be returned.
9) If you choose to take reptiles to your hotel, please do so discreetly. Use boxes that are not clear. Many hotels have rules against animals in rooms. If you are discreet and put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on your door, you should not have a problem.
Vendors:
1) Only official exhibitors are permitted to sell at the Expo.
2) One Exhibitor badge is included with each table purchased. One additional exhibitor badge may be purchased per table for $10. No table may have more than two badges assigned to it. All badges will have the name of the person – not the company.
3) Each exhibitor is responsible for collecting 6% Florida sales tax. Send taxes to: The Florida Department of Revenue, Carlton Building, Tallahassee, FL 32399.
4) Only captive-born animals can be sold at the Expo.
5) No venomous species are permitted; no venomoid-altered animals are permitted.
6) No live mammals or birds are allowed inside the Expo.
7) Nothing is to be displayed or sold in hotels or parking lots.
8) All animals must be kept in secure containers.
9) Poison arrow frogs must be captive-born and displayed by the breeder to be sold at the Expo.
10) All animals from out of state must be inspected by the Expo Vet and have an official vet certificate issued.
11) Exhibitors of live animals must comply with the permitting requirements of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
12) Captive born but imported iguanas will be permitted.
13) Captive born but imported common boas will be permitted with C.I.T.E.S. papers showing the seller imported them as captive-born.
14) Display animals must be kept in the exhibit hall at all times. The Ocean Center staff will provide security from closing in the evening to opening in the morning.

16) “The National Reptile Breeders’ Expo” can only appear on vendor-produced shirts in small letters on sleeves or on shirt pockets.

Thank you for your cooperation. Violation of any rule will result in reprimand, suspension, arrest, or banishment from future Expos.
