Venom Week is a scientific symposium covering venomous snakes, spiders and scorpions. It will be held September 3 - 7 and based at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and the Hilton El Conquistador Hotel in Tucson, Arizona.
Included in the meeting will be the Second International Venomous Snake and Snakebite Scientific Symposium, the inaugural event having been held at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha in 2005 as "Snakebites in the New Millenium: A State-of-the-Art Scientific Symposium."
The Venom Week symposium will contain scientific and didactic presentations of interest to herpetologists, clinicians who treat envenomations, venom and antivenom researchers, zoo personnel, veterinarians, and others. Partial conference registration will be available.
