You use these like a hide box and when you are ready to clean the cage you just slide the door shut and put your lock on and your safe to clean the cage or inspect your snake by turning the box over like it is in the photo and check the snakes heath up close through the vet inspection door. I have used these on cobras gaboons and mambas and they work great .
