We are attempting to build the largest public display of rattlesnakes in the U.S. (the world!). So far, we are up to 20 but want to add more and have plenty of space/exhibits to do so. If you have surplus to sell or donate (we are a 501c3 so you would get a nice tax write off), healthy, long term and acclimated rattlers, we are interested in talking to you. Specifically, we are looking for the following (and lone animals are fine as these will be primarily for public display):
- C. willardi
- C. enyo
- C. polystictus and other Mexican species
- Weird looking abberant morphs such as albinos, melanistic, etc.
- let us know what else you might have
We are also interested in even doubling up on our current animals if we can find a show stopper. We are also interested in any broken rattles from your collection (for a display in which kids can look at rattles under scopes, etc.), skins and other artifacts from roundups/stores (to teach people about how terrible these events are) and anything else that is rattlesnake related. This is a public not- for-profit facility whose primary focus is on Conservation Education. "The Grass Is Rattling" rattlesnake exhibit was made possible by a generous grant from TAP Pharmaceutical. Thank you,
