2.3 Hypo Producing Contorix
I bought this group of Contorix from Michael Jolliff in February. Since then, the babies have become yearlings and grown considerably. They were originally owned by Mike Bump, who produced a litter from the adults last year that was made up of 3 hypos and 3 normals, that would theoretically be 66% hets and the parents are assumed to also theoretically be het for hypo. (obviously, right?) They are TX locale. The adults feed very well on f/t adult mice and the babies feed amazingly on f/t large pinkie mice or small rat pups. I've never seen baby coppers eat like this before. Or this fiesty either.
They all have incredible potential. The hypo male bred back to the mother, the hypo bred to his 2 female siblings, hypo x hypo. The male also has a completely clear belly. And you can almost see THROUGH him. He's the hardest snake I've ever tried to photograph but if you could see him in person you'd be amazed too. There's definitely something going on with these. I wouldn't have bought them myself if there wasn't. And I know Mike wouldn't have picked them up either if they weren't legit.
Copperheads have always been my first passion and I LOVE these guys and would love to keep them for generations and see what this trait is really all about. But I really need to move these ASAP to make some room and generate some funds for other animals. So I'm only asking what I paid for them myself 7 months ago, $1250. Please contact me at ToxicPhillie@aol.com with any questions, or anything else. Thanks alot. Ryan.
