Naja Kaouthia (Parapied)
For your consideration:
Out of a pair of double het (Leucistic/Sunset)
Monacle siblings, we produced 5 Visuals and
7 hets. All of the visuals have some sort of
hood pattern. One male actually has a patch
of colored hood pattern. Is he a Paradox?
From my understanding, Paradox presents
itself as black, or very dark, patches or spots
on a white (or very light colored) animal. And
Paradox is not reproducable-It's an anomaly.
Look closely-The patch of color on this baby
presents itself more like the Pied gene in
other types of snakes. And Pied IS genetic.
So, Is he a Pied? If so, he is (as far as my
research leads me to believe) the first ever
Pied Monacle. The truth of the matter is: We
don't know what to call him. Only time will
give us the answers we seek. Obviously the
parents will be paired up again next Season
and we are holding back the babies we feel
we need to prove (or disprove) this gene.
From this clutch, we are offering 1.0 visual
(600.00); 4.0 hets (250.00 each); and 0.2 hets
(300.00) All reasonable Offers will be
considered-Certain trades amy also be
considered. Thank You
