As mentioned I am looking for a mentor in handling hot snakes.


I am a 30 year old navy vet and current business owner in the four corner region of the US. I would be willing to travel on weekends or other time off.
I have zero experience with venomous reptiles, however I have owned my own non-venomous for many years. I currently don't have any snakes in my own collection, because I had to adopt them out when I left for the military. I came back just a few years ago and am now stable enough to consider getting back into reptiles, but I would really love to get into venomous.

I have successfully bred balls, garters, Mexican black king snakes, and brooks king snakes from my previous collection.
I understand that NM might not allow exotic venomous snakes, but I am still willing to learn and look into getting into a Prairie Rattler (Crotalus viridis?).or other local specimens.
