I just walked out today and it is like around 65-70 and it is 12:00. I am going down to middle Georgia for moccasins and would like to know what is the coldest they stay out. I am hoping I will find one.

Hi Phillip, if the temp is above 70, i would say that you mite have a chance. Dont hold to it very much thoe, most of the time they will go under ground if the temp drops below 70, but the chance is thare so go for it. I have seen cottons out after the temp has dropt below 70 here, it mite be farly rare but anything is worth a try. Good luck.......happy herping Wally
