The anonymous option is a good thing for those of us who are afraid of being ripped to shreds on these boards. I seriously suggest that if you see someone abusing the privilege and ranting like an idiot, please ignore the anonymous idiot and move on with the thread.
Please let us chickens ask our stupid questions anonymously if we feel like we need to.

I know that I may have seemed obsence. Let me clear some things up. There are two anonymous posters. This is the first anonymous post that Ive done on this topic. The other one is a rip off of me. It all started like this. I was walking through the amazon looking for anacondas (Eunectis murinus)I spotted one and I had a dream of long ago when the world was beautiful and animals lived freely. The dream seemed so real. Before I knew it, I was swepped away to Africa and I was confronted by the Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepsis) I was cautious and quite fearful because Ive heard of the black mambas reputation. He didnt seem provoked at all by my prescence and and actually was very curious. Then I remembered that I was taken back to a time that black mambas and humans never had a conflict. I moved in slowly and he actually kissed me and told me that he has too dreamed of us meeting. We sat for years talking about the future when man would arrive and kill his family and friends. He told me that he would also have to start coming into contact with man because they would invade his home. He told me how powerful his venom was and that he would have to use it to catch prey to survive and that in the years to come, this venom would give him a bad reputation. He told me how him, and all of the other wildlife would have to protect there homeland in the near future. I started feeling dizzy. I was overwhelmed when he let me look back into the future. He showed me his family being slaughtered. As the years past we both became shadows. We walked the savannahs freely. We saw how his homeland that was once a lush habitat with beautiful grasslands and amazing scenery, was now overrun by buildings, pavement and pollution. I awoke. I forgot everthing, but my head hurt and I felt like I had been through something important. Now when I see a snake I have no fear. I too am now dead. I soar around the skies with the animals of this land and watch everday. We too share this land with the animals. Every thing on this earth is important. It wouldnt be there if it isnt. If it wasnt importand, if it didnt have some purpose for being there, it could not survive. Imagine a day when all creatures are gone. Imagine how when we were kids growing up, we gawked at pictures of dinosaurs, and knew that we could never see them. Imagine future generations looking at books to see pictures of the extinct eastern diamondback, the extinct sea turtles, the extinct crocodilians, the extinct gopher tortoise, along with other things. How could they forgive us. We need to conserve all of these animals. We need to conserve our selves. lets reach out. Lets give them an understanding. We are human. In turn we know how humans think. So in turn we have the power to educate. We have the power to preserve. No creature is above the rest including us. We are all important. And this my friend is my message. Lets stop being childish(we can still joke around when the time is right) but.....well let me reprase that, Lets not waste a precious minute. This needs to be done. Our generation has the privilege to see all of these animals. Think about how beautiful it is to walk out side and see these creatures. lets not be the last. I will make my reveal my identity later.

Response to Alex:
I actually don't remember the content of your posts that were deleted.
However, saying things like "He`s a lot better dead than alive, at least in my opinion." is rude and inflammatory. In fact, there is no legitimate reason to say such a thing. If you don't like his show, don't watch it. If you don't recommend it to others, then a clear and factual reason why not will suffice. Opinions wishing harm or death on somebody else because you do not agree with them are not something we want to see in our forums.
In my opinion, that whole thread is bordering on the edge of a flamewar based on peoples' opinions about someone that they have never met. So start an "I hate this or that television personality" website. It just doesn't belong here. The original post was a sincere call to apply to the network to change what one person feels is wrong and bad information. That is not the same as calling someone a moron, idiot, or even communist.
There is a new thread (see "A Note To All...") regarding my standards for deletions. It may or may not explain why some of your posts were deleted. Sorry if I offended you but my job is "website first".

I myself think anonymous posting should GO AWAY. If you can't own up to what you say (good or bad), then don't say anything at all. I hate it when someone bashes someone else, but doesn't let anyone know who they are. That's just WEAK to me. I know if I have something to say no matter how good or bad, I will say it and it won't be posted as anonymous. I think it's only fair that we know who is saying what about what. It gives everyone an idea of who everyone is and where they stand. I don't think it's a huge deal, as there has only been a few times I would have really liked to know who said something. But I would like it to all be open and out on the table

I guess the official position is that anonymous posting will remain available on this website.
That doesn't mean that anonymity will allow the poster free reign to post whatever they want. I tend to look more critically at anonymous posts.
I believe that if someone feels strongly enough about an issue, posting anonymously will not be a consideration.
Thanks for the suggestions and concerns but for now anonymous posting will be allowed to continue.
