I just had some redtails sent to me that were imported about 5 months ago. All but one out of the 7 are tame as kittens. they are all adult suriname redtails. Why so tame and layd back but they move around and act normal just not aggressive. I think it might be from internal paricites so there all in the corntien room but they were treated for that when they were imported.
thanx

might have been treated for parasites before you got them but was they properly identified parasites? medical treatments depend on the type of parasites so they must be identified correctly before treated with the appropriate drugs.it happens quite often when the snakes get treated with a drug before they actually know what the parasites are. yeh i agree with greg to do fecals on them.
hope this helps.

The boas suposenly had bloodwork to prove there was no pariciets but i dont know.i went off of the dudes word and think i might be scrued. How long will a snake live with them. Because i wont be abel to get them treated for another 2 weeks and they have been captive for a long time now already.
