In early september i was fortunate enough to have babies 13 of them to be exact,Well over the course of trial and error and just trying out ideas,I have seen them eat little crickets, small worms, night crawlers, pinkie mice and little fuzzy mice,as well as killed and tryed to eat a full grown mouse. My question is if they would eat a fish ,i was thinking a siamese fighting fish or goldfish ,but would it be best if i was going to research this silly thing if i should use a minnow or etc. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated .

I've never been tempted to feed fish to any of my C. horridus. I'm not sure they'd even take it. If you've got them on rodents, then they're on the right track. Once they're on mice (and later, rats), they'll be just fine. (Unless you want to breed captive voles and squirrels for them.. ha ha).
I wouldn't give them worms (especially wild caught ones), if I were you. Earthworms are notorious for carrying parasites (such as tapeworms).
take care,
GregB
