I am interested in purchasing snake venom of north american snakes. I see that many people milk snakes but I am not aware of those who sell it in the United States. Have any inquiries?

Ahhh...one other thought. Many of the keepers you see on this website don't even bother to "milk" their snakes. There is no market for the venom and it only puts the handler at risk for severe snakebite.

"bigniko"
You say that you are interesed in purchasing venom.
Yet, your profile is completely blank and there is no way given that anyone can contact you or ask what you are looking for or under what conditions you would want the venom withdrawn.
This might lead some less experienced keepers to try "milking" their snakes in the hopes of making some profit. This is an inherently dangerous practice and should only be attempted in a professional setting - not in somebody's basement or spare bedroom herp room.
If you are serious about trying to buy snake venom, then I suggest you approach it in a professional manner. Fill in your bio with contact information and require complete information from the people contacting you.
At this point, I have to assume that you are insincere and your post may lead people to endanger their lives needlessly. The SHHS DOES NOT recommend any venom extraction or "milking" of snake venom under any other than professional settings.

Big Nicko - that sounds like a bazzar question and if you were to try to milk the venom from a snake chances are you would be tagged in the process. In addition - I don't know your experience or herp background but in a way you are stressing the snake in a big way. It is sort of like someone asking you to be the bouncer at the local topless place on "broken beer bottle night". If you are a qualified herper please don't take this the wrong way but you can read a lot of threads about hot keepers being taqgged multiple times and many have lasting side effects from the venom or the antivenin. Hots are beautifull to observe but leave the milking/venom business to the PHD's.
BTW-I live very close the the Cape Fear Serpentarium where the owner (I understand) is in the venom supply business and opened the serentarium as a "side show". It is a top notch facility and IMO the most interesting place in Wilmington. He himself has been at deaths door more than once while collecting his hots and making mistakes.

I have supplied research grade venom to labs and students in the past. If that is what you need, I can help. If you need medical grade stuff, will need to contact Harrison, Van Horn, or Haast. Give a little contact info and I will get in touch. ---Chuck
