Hi every one. How can I tell which of the 3 subspecies of pope viper I have ? Mine is about 70-80cm long, dark green dorsal colloration, very light green ventral area, a white/blue stripe on it`s flancs and a red stripe on top of it`s tail. Also, could I determin the sex of the snake by the collor ? Is it sexualy dimorphic ? Thanks you and happy herpin`, Alex S.

I couldnt find any subspecies of this snake. Also I found a site that said that the red tail and blue stripe is common.
