Where can I see a Black Mamba in captivity? Where is the best place to see venomous snakes in captivity?

At least tell us the state you live in so we can direct you to the nearest "Black mamba".

There may be venomous displays closer than this, but if you're ever in Florida, you owe it to yourself to see George Van Horn's Reptile World Serpentarium in St. Cloud. I was there in June; an excellent exhibit,
including all four mambas, a slew of cobras, etc. Well
worth your while.

Hey man,
Though its kinda a long haul from PA, The Luray Reptile Center in Luray Virginia has a very nice female D.polylepis along with a bunch of other awesome specimens includeing many Agkistordon, Crotalus, Naja and Bitis species. Also, they have one of the biggest pairs of King cobras I have ever seen!! Easily pushing 15 ft!!
If your ever in the state, I highly recommend stoping by.
Good luck on your search!
Later,
Jeremy

Hello,
In PA there is Clyde Peeling's Reptiland, which has a fairly good collection of venomous (Black Mamba, King Cobra, Spitters, etc.). They also have some other reptiles. It is somewhere in the northeast area of the state, but do a search!

Since I use to work at Reptiland, I can vouch for their good collection. Clyde Peeling's Reptiland is located in Allenwood, PA. It's located just off Rte 15 between Williamsport and Lewisburg. They just went through a big renovation at the beginning of the year and the place is looking really nice now. They have both the Black mamaba and the East African Green Mamba. Most of their snake collection is venomous. I hope this helps you out.
I believe their website is www.reptiland.com
