About a year ago, I visited this place:

They had, by far, the largest cottonmouth I've ever seen (as well as some huge pigmy rattlers). Unfortunately, that was on a road trip, I got there 10 minutes before they closed and left my camera in the car. I hate to commit to a guess about it's size, but I'm confident it was over 5 feet and I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was over 6.

Hi,
I found a DOR in South Georgia that measured around 5' 6" or 5' 7". I also have a friend who had a cotton that was only four feet long but weighed an amazing 15 lbs. It was OBESE.
There's a pic in my book of the DOR.

the biggest I saw( and the only live one I saw) was about 5 feet long and very fat. It was completely black. Cheers...

I found a D.O.R. Cottonmouth, (Agkistrodon piscivorus) that was every bit of 5 ˝ ft. long, its been about 5 years ago tho. It was in a area with swamp on both sides of the road. The Snake was a fresh kill, I only wish I could have been down the road in front of whoever hit him/her ( such a waist) . Funny thing is, it still had markings that could be seen well, the Snake was very beautiful.............Be safe ya’ll, happy herping ,Wally

The biggest I've seen was the pair of absolute terrors that Paul Rowley has at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. They were huge and very very foul tempered. Amazing animals that would be a complete nightmare to milk.
