I'm getting cabin fever. I was wondering if anyone would HONESTLY be interested in some venomous herping trips this spring/summer. I live in north central WV and would travel anywhere in WV or south PA or north VA. I got a new camera and i can't wait to "document" my herping trips this year. I figure if we can get a few of us together with the same interest, it should be more fun and safer. I'v been doing this for 13 years now. If you are interest, let me know where you are at, and how long you've been herping for venomous. I don't mind sharing spots, but we have to be carful. I hope to hear from some of you. Chris

I know it is a bit further then you are wanting to travel, however if you can bring yourself to come down to Kentucky, I can help you out. I have worked off and on for the Boy Scouts for several years, and one of their top 3 camps is not far from here. I have quite a bit of experiance with copperheads and timberrattlers in this area. As it is a wildlife preserve, it is neccessary to catch the animals when they are in the same area as the scouts. Often times they are kept over the summer as education tools and released at the end. I can gurantee copperhead and cottomouth sightings here, and depending on how much time is spent, timerratttlers. Again this is in Kentucky, so it may be beyond your reach. Either way let me know and I would be glad to show you around.
