How can you find a snake burrow

I am trying to get some bullsnakes, and hognoses so i can breed them. but i want some wild specimens. where do bull snakes go during the witner. i live in Grady county oklahoma. in rush springs.
How do you find a snake burrow. and when/if you do, how do you get them out? some one please help me.

Usually, I just wait until spring time and start looking around rocks, down timber, etc. You know, snakey places. From your pic, it seems that you do a good job at finding them. There dens, I am no expert, but I would think they go back in there pretty far underground. Personally, I just wait for warm weather to get here.

Why don't you leave the wild snake in the wild and buy some off the internet.
Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.

Hey Jacob, I am sure if you look hard enough, you would find some breeders on the Net, that have some nice Bullsnake & Hognoses. Going this rout mite cost a little more, but at least you know you want be putting un-needed pressure on wild populations. At one time I went out and caught my own Snakes, but after a little time, it got harder and harder to find them in the wild. This made me realize that my catching of wild Snakes was not helping the wild population in this area.
