midwest tongs has a good variety of tongs and other snake gear. I personally never use tongs but I think that it would be a good idea to invest in some midwest tongs.

Don't risk your safety on a home made pair of tongs, collect aluminum cans or do some chores to earn $$. I use Midwest..cause I think they're the best.
At 14 with little experience don't be chasing after venomous. Stay with the non-venomous and then you won't need to spend $$ on Tongs.

Skip the homemade tongs. Go for either the Midwest Gentle Giants or the M1s. No one elses tongs are even close to Midwest quality. Anonymous to avoid flack.
