Albino ratsnake (Elaphe climacophora): constrictor, length 5-7 feet. (record length: 87") diet: small mamals; frogs and lizrds when juvenille; appearance: white with pink pattern weaving throughout length, eyes pink; habitat: found under logs and in trees and along roadsides.

Does anyone have any info on it? Its a species of snakes called the albino rat snake. Its latin name is Elaphe climacophora. Ive tried to find info on it but havent found much.

The info Im looking for is where are they from, a description of the snake, and why is the whole species of snake albino?

Evidently they are not all albino. A google search of the scientific name pulled up loads of stuff.
