Its almost that time again down here in the south. Every spring the dogwoods bloom. I get this feeling every year. Everything seems peacefull. The south has that certain feel about it in the warmer parts of the year.You dont want to be anywhere else. Its hard to pinpoint it. When your riding down the road listining to Skynyrd. You can just about relax.You have your own set of rules. Everyone in the south knows what Im talking about. That smell of pines in a mid summer rain. Sweating on the bank of a river while you rest. The smell of grill in the southern air. The old dusty backroads. From the Mountains to the Swamps.The early morning when the earth is still grey and the first gold and red rays from the sun shows their face, when the dews still on the ground. You can take your time everyday and still get the job done.

dont mind the smartasses. i fully understand what you mean. i am from,and plan to stay in the south. i catch wild herps every year.i am looking forward to this up and coming herp season.
