The person posting as greasemonkey in the SHHS ads is Robert Kirk who had himself reported as dead earlier this year (by a Cottonmouth bite!) for reasons unexplained to any of the SHHS officers.
I, personally, went through much heartache and difficulty over this situation and without so much as a "By your leave" he has started posting here under a new alias. I warn anyone that dealing with this man is probably not in your best interests.

i find this interesting; if this were someone else posting this type of warning, karl would say keep it elsewhere, but since it touched him so, he felt compelled to go against his policy. i am deleting your post karl!!

Robert Kirk ripped me off a few years back. I sent him a few animals and $100. He requested cash so "we could do the deal quick".... The package was delivered and I even had a time when and where it was delivered. He says he never recieved it and I was "trying to rip him off"... He "stole" my snakes and the money... PLEASE use caution when dealing with him...learn from my lessons.... I don't forget those who screwed me over... Maybe others have had better dealings with him, but NOT ME!

GROW UP!!! You know that if someone noticed that someone else was going to the extreme to scam and rip off our fellow herpers, we would be allowed to post a similar warning. Granted this is not the BOI and we don't need to come here to cry every time someone does something we don't aprove of. I think a situation like this calls for serious action. Good job Karl thank you for the warning..

I don't normally respond to people who don't have the fortitude to identify themselves but in this case I will respond instead of deleting your post.
This person's fabricated death was reported here on our site. It created quite the stir as people stepped up and said that he owed them money and then others reported that he wasn't dead, he was faking it.
Someone who said they were his son, using his log on, posted profanity and personal attacks over a several day period claiming grief over his death.
I posted all over the place trying to find out the facts of the issue and got conflicting stories everywhere I went.
Now he pops back up wanting to deal in snakes again.
I say "Not on our site and not with unsuspecting members of the SHHS."
I put my name up here and I stand by my reputation. When things get bad, I am still here standing by my name. I have the power and responsibility to remove this person from dealing on the SHHS website and I intend to continue to do so.
You have been warned about this individual. Deal with him at your own risk. If you don't like the way I am handling his fraudulent death, feel free to start your own site and deal with people like him in your own way.
Of course, you could always email the other officers of the SHHS (who have the power to delete my posts) and ask for them to intervene. Let me know how that works for you if you develop the spine to put your name with your post.

Karl stood up and posted to a area that is heavily view to alert the members of a potential problem and backed it with his name. I do beleive is honesty and integrity is not in question and I beleive he did the members of this site a service. Post should stay!
