I ask this question only to find out whether the political parties that place the bans on reptiles are democrats or republicans. Does it seem to be more of a conservative, or liberal problem, or do we meet opposition from both parties. Now I don’t want this to be a political battle. I just want to know which of the two parties support the banning of venomous reptile ownership.

I feel it is more right wing repulicans in which who are passing most of the laws. Also they are the ones who want to destroyed millions of acres for roads, mines, and expansion.

Well, as for the State I live in, it seems to be the Left side of the Bench that passes the unwanted Laws. I see the same action on both sides of the Political spectrum, I will never place all the blame on one single side. It seems to me that we as Venomous Keepers had better start fighting harder to stop the bans, rather than fight amongst our selves. I have seen no reason to place blame on either party, the reason I say this, is that both sides have bad apples and we have bad apples in our community also. I think that our community is killing itself, from the inside out. As for blaming one party for construction of Roads and Highways in National Forest and National Parks, the reason they do this is to allow us to travel with ease, from one place to another. If anyone dose research on here, they would find out that we have to have this Roads to allow for better delivery of the Merchandise we use. This things I speak of include Hooks, Tongs, Cages, and Bags, when you complain about this thing not getting to you more promptly, you contradict the facts that we do or don’t need more Roads. I am not a mind reader by any means, but I do know that we cant have it both ways and I am sure “just like me” that some of you that are against the Road building and construction, do complain about things being late on delivery. Now, this is just my opinion, I am not trying to start a Civile War here....................Be safe ya’ll, happy herping Wally

I agree, I'm not tring to place blame I was just wondering which party seemed to be quick to place bans. Just food for thought. As said before please no arguing about there own political views.

Liberals want total control of your life.They want total gun bans "for your protection" the same with reptiles.The more they controll, the more dependent the people are to them,the more power they have.

Here in NY, it was all but 1 that voted for the "Restricted Ownership" ( i won't say ban, because its not a complete ban).
This isn't viewed as a political agenda item, it's more of a 'pain in the a$$" to most politicians because we are not the mainstream voting public. If we were, we'd have more of a say. We do not number in the millions like gun owners, therefore, the amount of time, and effort to permit a few people will not garner much support or even the time of day, from politicians.
Thats the reality of it.

I am not a democrat or a hippie. I do support gay marrige. But I support whoever I think it a better canidate. I see bush as one if not the worst president in history. I am sorry you can not show your name which is always the pussy way to do things. I do not mind guns at all. I just think people need to use care just as any herper would with a venomous snake. I hated Senoir Bush and JR Bush. The war we are in right now are just plain stupid. You anonymous really need to stop being such little shits and come out and tell us who you are. I at least will stand by what I believe. One of the few republicans I did like was Regan. He was very sensible. Im sorry but im not into things like you are into. I mean no one that would talk about circle jerks unless they are into it. Do you like being gay? From the two last comments you must be a homosexual to talk about them so well. I guess it takes one to know one.

Why dont you tell the men and women over there, that they are fighting a stupid war!!! Also ask the people of Iraq if they want saddam back, and tell the families of 9/11 if going over there and blowing there shit up was the right thing to do. See this is whats wrong with the US we tend to forget that we are the most powerfull nation, and how do you think we got that way? By being nice, hell no we fought and killed our way to the top, and by being a nation blessed by God. Oh well people and other countries will keep on downing us, but let me tell you when the shit hits the fan guess what country they turn to. Also people that post anonymous dont represent the Republican party. Conservatives dont hide, there real men that put a name on what they belive in. Why aren't we fighting Saudia Arabia? Most of the 9/11 bomber pilots were from there. I am sorry but I see that you have got the politics of the Bush administration. I think Morrissey said it best when he said "It is ashame Regan died, I wish it would of been Bush." I think are soliders are fighting a war not over freedom but over greed and oil.
