I am planning to go down to Apalachicola soon and I was wondering if anyone could give me any good roads or good spots to herp. If you would not like to give a good spot away that is fine I would appricate any good area to go herping in like North part, South Part, etc.. All help would be dearly appricated. If you would not like to post on the site just email me at higganse@bellsouth.net
Thanks,
Phillip

If I am not mistaken that is right above Alligator point, which is one of the best diamondback rattler hunting around..

I caught a coral crossing Forest Service Road 100. All of the roads in that general vicinity have been fairly productive. Stay out of Tate's Hell to the south - too many arbitrarily erected gates. It's like being in a maze. I liked the roads on the southern end of the Apalach best though.
