with a probe and tubes.........they don't like it (and i don't blame them) but be CAREFUL......you can injure the snake this way.....use some olive oil as lubrication.......just use the scales as reference and count how many it probes to......then get back to us here

Males 5-6+ scales and females around 3 scales.
males always probe deeper and females dont probe very deep and those numbers I gave you is for a medium sized snake.
