How many of you guys keep a first aid kit for snakebites and what are some of the items you keep in them. I know some of the new herpers may have never thought of doing this. If you are ever in a desolate place while herping and get tagged one just might come in handy as you're rushing to the emergency room. For those of you who do have first aid kits, list what is in them and how you would use them if needed.
Thanks, Jason

I will admit that I dont carry one but were I herp at is close the the vol. fire dept were im a fire fighter/EMR , and we have a first responder bag, oxegen, and a AED so simple first aid would be no problem.
But I would say that the AED would be alittle hard to use on my self if I needed one : -)

I keep a very basic kit: The only additions to "Normal" items are: ace bandage, for pressure bandage*, Benadryl Childrens Chewable for quick adsorption and Epipen.
*Normally not indicated for non-Elapid bites but Dr. Sean Bush presented his finding that it will prolong your life if hospitalization is delayed. Like being out in the field by yourself and getting tagged and you have a long hike back for help.
