Ok guys, last night i was changing the chunky monkey's diaper and I came up with an idea. You know how people are always wondering and sometimes complaining about how they can't keep enough humidity in cages for their tropical snakes such as tree vipers and such? Well, we have this little box that plugs in and it keeps wet wipes wet and warm so the baby doesn't get a shock from a cold wet wipe. i was thinking that this would serve as an excellent humidifier. the only thing you would have to do different is put a little water in it and crack the lid so the humidity comes out of the box. Not sure if it would work but I can't see why it wouldn't. I know it would humidify a cage because when I open the box to get a wet wipe out, steam rises when the lid is opened. this sounds a little bit out there but it was just an idea I had. You could even put a wet sponge in the box so water wouldn't spill oout of it. If anyone knows why this wouldn't work, comments are certainly welcome. I was thinking about this because I am thinking of getting a White lipped tree viper and they need humidity to shed and stay regular. The things you think about when changing a baby's diaper?

Oh, one more thing, I took all of the wipes out of the box and felt the bottom of the box to see if it would be too hot and it's just warm so if a snake happened to get in the box it wouldn't burn it. Also, instead of cracking the lid to the box, you could drill small holes in the lid smaller than the diameter of the snakes body. I must be mad. No one ever accused me of being normal though.

How about a mini version of a swamp cooler. Those in the west and sw parts of the states will know what i mean, but if you dont, drop ne a note and i can diagram one for you. would be easy and inexpensive.
