Hi to all who have noted my posts regarding my male western hognose and its a great report-. He shed as expected and then began to become extremely active as he was also settling into a brand new viv, I fed him the day he shed after he had shed obviously, and he fed but I missed it typical, So i offered another fluff and was promptly "hissed" out of his new area, then last night I decided to try him again without any braining going on and he demolished 2 ft pinkies then a third, normally I would not have fed 3 food items but they were small pinkies, also he did seem to slightly "chew" on them before swallowing! possible venom action to aid digestion? what do we know about this behaviour as little is availiable (book wise) over here, anyway,Larry I didnt have to brain myself so all is well there.LOL:) thanks Phobos,Bgf and all who have followed this snakes progress, now he needs a girl anyone in the world got one for him let me know thanks Kieron.
