Alex:
Puff Adders are very easy to keep. I bet you could not kill one if you tried. They are gargage disposals, eat anything you give them. Hot spot 25 to 30 degree range, water dish, and a hide box. Just stay out of their way, they deserve their nasty reputation. Most unfriendly and uncooperative all the time. They may not defecate for weeks, this is normal, so don't worry.
This is really all you need to know
Al

Hi Al, thanks.
I might be getting a pair of baby puffies next spring. I`m also interested in breeding info on my exotic hot species(at this moment just Crotalus atrox and Trimeresurus popeiorum). I want to get a female for my male atrox and a male for my female pope. The thing that ennoys me is that, from what I recall, wdbs need to be brumated befor breeding. I find this very risky. I don`t want to risk my snake`s lives. A friend of mine lost a male Vipera ammodytes montandoni(that I gave him) to brumation. This probably happened because of inproper brumation conditions. This reminds me, can you give me some tips on proper brumation or direct me to a good article on this ? Thanks again, stay safe...
Alex S.
