I was thrilled to visit with all of my friends from this website and others at Daytona. Special hats off to Bill & Greg who I met for the first time. I will post a few pictures when I catch up with stuff at home. Special howdy to "Flamboyant Joe" Al

Al, there will be appropiate measures taken against that comment. LOL! It was a blast to hang out with everyone. But next year I call for all who come to wear some of those famous tube socks!

It really gets harder every year to list all of the SHHS "members/regulars/old timers/new faces" that get together. This year we saw: Dana Savorelli & crew of tongs dot com "TV's own" Thomas Eimmermacher & Hortencia Chris & Alice Harper Reknowned author Chad Minter Larry Lemon, Tommy & Haus Bill Huseth Greg Longhurst Greg Bordelon Don & Dawn Tipton Joe Switalski Alex Shelton Al Coritz Matt & Bree Crews Chuck Hurd Phillip Higgins John Pulliam & his wife were all together in various groups throughout the show and got to "rub elbows" with such notables as: Karl Switak Rom Whitaker Heyward Clamp Dr. Sam Seashole Dr. Rossi John Kemnitzer Jr. and Dick & Patti Bartlett. I am sure that I have forgotten names in both lists and so many people come up to me and The Boss to introduce themselves that it is hard to keep track. If we spoke and I forgot to list you, please don't be offended, just add to this thread about your time at Daytona. We look forward each year to the chance to get together with the movers and shakers of the herping community. It was good to see you all there. Can't wait for next year. Good Herping Luck to you all. Gang, I know that everyone tries to at least go down there once, but is there a way to know more in advance when this event takes place? At my place of employment, they expect us to plan out our vacation throughout the year, of which doesn't leave room for any error. You're given a certain amount, and a time frame to have submitted and received approval for, all vacation plans (pain in my *). Anyhow, I'd like to get down there for other than bike week just to see some of the faces behind the threads that I read and respond to. Much obliged, Matt

...why did I know you had to be referring to Switalski!! Man, I'm starting to wonder more and more about him. Remember, No Tube Socks OR SPEEDOS allowed in Costa Rica!!

I was pleased to meet as many of the gang as I did, plus some guys & gals I have not seen in years. I am sorry I missed as many as I did..perhaps if everybody was issued a nametag at the start, instead of just the vendors, it would help. ~~Greg~~

Ahhhh ok girls, wait till next time I see you all!!!! Keep up the talking =] I mean , even the Boss who sold it to me said it looked very nice. I am sure Karl can vouch for that. I mean how can one get knocked over a green SHHS shirt!! lol
