i have managed to find a timber den about an hour away from where i live. im not going to share with anyone where it is , im just posting this to brag. i have to say it is absolutely amazing to be able to go to this place and see at least 5 timbers sunning themselves on rocks. there are some deep cracks for them to retreat to, which makes me wonder how many there may be deep down in the rocks. im sure when the weather starts cooling the place will be crawling with them. i expected to see different color variants but have only seen the "sulphur" phase.

Keep that secret! show even one herper and it's out. No matter how much you trust them.
Don't believe me? ask any herper about those favorite tin sites.

Ive shown people some of my good timber sites, and now I hear those same people online offering to take people to "MY" spots.

It's true, don't tell anyone, especially a den-site. I had a friend show me a good place to find rattlesnakes in NYS, I won't show any herpers where that place is. I've had people ask when I've mentioned it, and all I've said was, somewhere in the Mountains of NY.
This is truly a case where people have to be selfish, or it may mean bad things for the snakes and their future generations. Nice find.
