Does anybody know the dates that Cutter made its "Compak" snake bite kits? I'm adding a photo to the gallery for more reference. Thanks in advance!

Kevin: I can remember seeing advertisements for the old Red Rubber Cutter Snake Bite Kits in a Boy Scout Handbook and Boy`s Life Magazines from about 1938. The Green oval shaped kits came out sometime in the early 1970`s. JohnZ

Kevin: The photos of the Cutter Snake Bite Kit you posted show one of the very early models. Later on in the 1950`s and 1960`s there was another Hard Rubber Red Cutter Kit with ``Fluted`` Sides. I will try to post some photos of it soon. I think you are right in calling the kit you have ``vintage`` as it is difficult to tie down to specific dates the various kits they made. JohnZ
