My arboreal vipers recently developed wrinkly skin in my terrarium. I have a light fixed over it and covered much of the screen to hold in humidity, and I also spray them every night but nothing seems to work. Is this caused by the lack of humidity or too much humidity? Or am I putting too much heat on the tank? They act normal and still eat normally so I have no idea what's going on.

Could be a number of things. The first thing I thought of was dehydration. Im not experienced with tree vipers so I hope someone else will explain more.

I agree that your snakes are probably suffering from dehydration. I encountered this problem with my eyelashes. I knew my humidity/misting frequencies were not to blame. I stepped up feeding frequency while remaining viligant on humidity/misting frequencies and the problem seemed to go away. Just be careful not to over feed your snake (monitor bowel movements) as to avoid constipation. Good luck!

Sounds like old age to me, try some oil of olay or botox injections. Actually, it could be a number of things. If they are constantly near the heat source, they could be de-hydrating themselves. Definitely try to get them hydrated and drop the heat a little bit, you would actually have to raise your heat source higher than it is, so it isn't so close to the enclosure. When was the last time they shed? It could be an old shed that hasn't come off. Also, what kind of tree vipers are they? Some have different needs as far as heat goes. ie.. if it's a montane species, it should be kept cooler than most, so there isn't a need for a constant heat source.
