I see alot of photos of people that have a containers filled with a large number of snakes found in one night. Sometimes like 20 or more. What effect does that have on a local population even when the snakes are released(Im sure it will be nearly impossible to release them back to the same location that they were found unless you marked the snake.) I am not disagreeing or trying to start trouble. I just want to know if anyone has captured large amounts of snakes like that and released them and witnessed first hand if the effect on the population are good or bad. Thanks alot.
Jeremy.

I personally don't see the difference between someone who takes (and keeps) 20 or 30 snakes off of one stretch of river or road, and people who run roundups. Is there a difference?

The difference....one ends up being chopped up, the other ends up on the KS.com classified's.
