Assuming for the sake of argument that you meant the snake that kills the most people, I'm not sure anyone really knows the answer because so many snake butes are blamed on whatever is the most feared snake in the area without any real evidence or reliable identification. Allegedly it's the indian cobra, mostly because it lives in heavily populated areas where most of the locals don't wear shoes.
As others pointed out, they're still pretty low on the list, behind at least mosquitos (actually things they carry), a long list of diseases, man (by a factor of 100 when there are no major wars going on), fires, floods, cars...

As far as snakes go, i know that Echis sp. kills the most people, folowed by Bitis arietans, Bungarus sp. & Naja naja. As far asa all animals go, the Mosquito is #1 with 1-3 million victims a year.
