hey everyone,hows it going? my question is-how hard is it to start a reptile rescue shelter? is it something that has to be state functioned(!),or is something that can be done privately? last question-do i need any type of permit? i appreciate your time and all the responses!-adam hoyt

Maybe try looking up general wildlife rescue facilities in your area. Maybe there's already one established that doesn't deal with reptiles but would if they had someone to work with them. Just a thought.
