Florida FWC has formed the Captive Wildlife Tech support group. This is mainly used to counteract radical groups who are trying to influence the FWC with their absurd views and bogus claims. Mr. Eugene Bessette is on the committee that was picked by FL FWC and is representing the Venomous Reptiles part of the group. He has scheduled a meeting at George Van Horn's Reptile World in Kissimmee, FL on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 2pm to hear all of our voices so he can have the right facts to present the committee. We have already had an overwhelming amount of people who have contacted my self and others who will be in attendance. I encourge that every hot herper in FL come that Saturday and we all can give our comments to Mr. Bessette. This is not to get people alarmed or worried but it will be good to have all of us together to give different views. Please contact me for any further information.

No worries Bill. It is nothing bad, it happens every 10 years or so. The last one they had was in 1994 and before that 1984 I believe. We will just have a united voice, thats all =]

I will try very hard to be there. Sounds like a good excuse to get a few of us together for dinner or something while we're at it...
