I know that people come and go in this "hobby", but I would still like to know how a few people that I havent heard from in a while on here are doing:

Yeah, I'm still here. I sort of went 'in and out' of the hobby, so to speak, but I'm back in now I suppose. My herp collection is much smaller than it was before, as I've been getting into a few more animals that require lots more time and attention than the herps, but you know how it is...it's just hard to stay away from them.

Cottonmouth Kyle is still around. He contacted me a couple of weeks ago about going herping with him.

Hey Jeremy,
I haven't really been around in quite a while. I have been super busy. I just started graduate school this fall and have been really busy with that. I am doing some pitvipers systematics work for my thesis here in Texas. I never update my site anymore so it is probably hard to keep track of me.
Over Christmas break I'll be in Costa Rica for a couple weeks just taking it easy and catching some herps. Me and a couple herping buddies will be renting an SUV and driving around northern Costa Rica to herp and bird. Should be a lot of fun and there are tons of things I want to see. But until then I have to work my butt off to get all my work done befor the end of the semester.
Thanks for checking up. How have you been? Catch some cool herps lately? I spent the summer at the University of Arizona and caught a bunch of cool herps that I hadn't gotten before like C. williardi, C. lepidus, C. cerestes, Oxybelis aeneus, and a few others. Still couldn't find a Gila Monster but hopefully I'll catch one in western Mexico if I ever get around to going there.
Talk to you guys later,
Robert
