Is there still alot of scams about people saying there this and that and there client wants your item and this that and the other??? Just wondering I put up a post trying to sell some of my snakes and have received a few emails from people stating that. I was just remembering someone saying to be leary of them in a past post. Just curious

Richard,
I had such an e-mail when I had posted some frozen baby balls for feeders back in January. Claimed they were a firm out of Canada needing the above mentioned for one of their clients. I replied saying that they were for sale locally; only. I never got a response afterwards.

Sounds like the same response that I got but they offered to pay me twice what I was asking in a travelers check for me to cash and then pay his shipping agency. Just sounded funny so I said no thanks to him.

Standard scam. They send you a forged check wriiten against someone else's account. It will clear, but when the real account holder notices and complains you are responsible for the missing money (including the excess they have you wire back to them, in case they haven't mentioned that part yet.)

Never accept more than you are asking for plus shipping for your aniaml! This is a nigerian scam where they send you all this extra money then tell you to western uinon the difference to them. The check's are usually fake but good. Alway's ask to speak to a potential buyer on the phone! If they dont give you a # warning sign #1, Is your advert still for sale, what is final asking price #2, my client and my shipping company will arrenge pickup at your location #3. I don't know about all of you but I don't like stranger's comming to my house. Sorry for the bad spelling, long day at work.

I have gotten 2 replies similiar to this in the past 2 days. I thought something fishy was up. Glad Im not the only one getting this B.S.
