I asked a question about this snake a while back, but I still cant find much information about this snake. I am very interested in this snake and I would like any info you may have about this subspecies. All I know is that there were only three ever found and they are now considered exstinct. Thanks.

According to Whit Gibbons and Mike Dorcas (both excellent herpetologists) The South Florida Rainbow Snake Farancia erytrgramma seminola hasn't been seen since the mid-1960's. That was from their book ("Snakes of the Southeast" UGA press). They may have more information. Both of them are very good about answering e-mails. Whit works for the Savannah River Ecology Lab, and Mike is the PARC coordinator for NC (I think). Also, I think both of them will be at the state herpetologists meeting this Saturday.
