AP sliding glass door cages for hots?

I just ordered a T-10 cage with belly heat and a lock from AP. I have heard that the sliding glass is better for large constrictors, which I plan to own in the future along with hots. I'm wondering if any of you use any of the AP cages with SLIDING GLASS for your hots. I'm hoping that they will be hot compatable so that I can buy the same type of cage for all my snakes in the future. However, I will not sacrafice safety and if I have to, I will buy separate cages for the hots.

I use Vision cages which uses sliding glass doors. They have the lip on the top & bottom of the front of the cage the needs to be filled in with foam. Otherwise your hot critter will hide there and give you a nasty surpise.

Alright Dylan, hows it going? Not sure if there available in the states but i use Herptek vivariums and there the best i've seen. I have one 90x60x50 for my vipera ammodytes and plan on getting three more along with an upright version for an arboreal pit- viper. They are used in zoos and veterinarian surgureys and are proffesional, completely escape proof [ so long as you lock the glass doors!!] and look the buissness. Ginny great info I have been trying to find a suitable dwa vivarium for use in the U.K. this sounds great, but im not going for my dwa for atleast 2-3 years in which time we may have all large boids and pythons on the dwa, Don't know how they intend to police the keeping of boas etc as there are so many in the U.k. already!

Thanks for the advice everyone! The cage should be here at the end of this week or the beginning of next week, so I'll be able to inspect it then and form an opinion as to whether it is suitable for hots or not.
