Dan,
Honestly, it sounds like you have a long way to go. To run a reptile park, you will need a VAST amount of knowledge. You will need to know the natural history, behaviors, preferred temps, humidities, diets, breeding habits, veterinary care and safety rules for the majority of reptiles found in the world. Start reading everything you can get your hands on and get a job at an existing reptile park. When you are ready to build a reptile park yourself, you won't need to ask anyone what you should put into it.

Getting your pilot's license might be easier, assuming you don't have that yet, either. It would be a good idea to get your airframe & powerplant certification as well. Nothing like being able to work on your own plane when you're far from civilization. Getting the animals to put in your park would not be the first step...that would be buying the land, building the facility, & obtaining the requisite licenses. Depending on land values, the initial expenditure could approach or exceed a mil. Before the first customer pays his way in.

Go check out the crocodile hunter's web site(s).
He runs a large zoo and you may get some ideas there.
I did a project like this for school a while back.
You need to think of all aspects of running a reptile park. You also must think about how you will make enough money to support it. Back when i did my school project, I fugured that the start up costs would be about 1 mil. But remember, that was for MY state-of- the-art, specially designed park.
A small reptile park can bring in the right ammount of income if you have a show that will draw in crowds every day.
So, visit some parks, maybe get a job at one and get a better idea about what is invloved and make a plan.
Also, check out the croc hunters site, you may find some good info.
Hope this helped,
Darren
