Has anyone noticed the amount of people that answered “YES” to this Months Survey Question? It is just a little disturbing that there is that many People in the Venomous Community that actually do Keep Venomous Illegally. Just makes you wonder how many actually do it and didn’t even bother Voting on the Survey. Hope the Law Makers are not reading this stuff. .........Be Safe Ya’ll, Happy Herping : Wally

Yeah, Ricky: you know the guy that got caught Keeping that FWC in Limestone County tried to fight their Wrath, but still got in trouble. It fascinates me how Laws can just work their way in under your nose, it seems like they do it on purpose. Anyway, if we as Hot Keepers wont to keep our ability to have our Charges, we had best start abiding by the Laws that do exist. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the Bull that comes out of Montgomery, or any other State Capital for that mater, but, it is Law. By the way Ricky, what do you think it would take to Reverse the Standing Laws in this State? Do you think it could be done? I have been wondering how many Venomous Keepers actually still live in Alabama. thanks, and i was thinking about our laws and my dream is to own an ophiophagus hannah, love them, just beautiful, but no way i'm doing it illegally because the risk is just too great....i'm gonna get involved with some organizations that have the same agenda (protect our rights but create a reliable system) and at least do something.......i'm about to get back on top of life and should have a LITTLE bit more free time

The only thing that surprises me is that the number isn't higher. Just like the question of how many people actually keep their own AV. It came up on another forum awhile back, not one of the hypocrites that come into the forums preaching actually responded with a yes. My guess, 70% keep illegally, and less than 2% actually stock their own AV. Just my humble opinion.
