Riverbanks Zoo question?

I plan on going to the Columbia show in November. Going to get there a couple days in advance to unwind. I am planning on visiting the Riverbanks Zoo, so my question is do they have a quality venomous collection? I have visited their website, but would like opinions of those who have seen it personally. I have heard they have been successful at breeding Eastern Corals (M. fulvius), that has sparked my interest. Thanks
Best regards,

Michael,
They have an exceptional display of reptiles. The reptile building is called the A.R.C. ( Aquarium and Reptile Complex) . If you call ahead you may be able to schedule a behind the scenes look at their reptile facility.
Let them know you are a member of the S.H.H.S. Also ask to speak to Scott Pfaff. He is the curator of herpetology at the Riverbanks Zoo. Even if they are unable to schedule you in; I still think you will enjoy their facility. It's a great zoo.
They have some awesome animals on display: even ones without scales. You can do a google image search to give you some photos of their facilities. Here is one from the Herpetology Conference they had back in '04.

Definitely worth the visit. I have been to Riverbanks several times each year, but it never gets old. Of course I usually make a bee line for the A.R.C.

Hey, the one exhibit that draws me there all the time is to see their Eastern X Canebrake hybrid. The animal is awesome and has gorgeous colors. Also the last time I checked the Riverbanks had Feas Vipers. Awesome snakes, rarely seen in captivity. Their Boelens pythons are also a plus to see, they have a large collection of them. Enjoy the Zoo.
