Is anybody on this site willing to mentor me that lives near jacksonville, I was doing this with someone from the herp society but he is fixing to move. I understand the risks and i will take full responsibility for my actions and am willing to anything that is asked of me regarding the proper handling and/or keeping. I am not looking to own one for quite some time but i would like to get enough experience so that when I turn 18, I will be able to relocate hot snakes that may be endangering somebody. please email me if you are intrested. Once more, I would like to believe that i am a responsible adult and i will be completly under your control and will do whatever possible to learn from one of you guys.

Sure wish you lived in GA Chris, as I could use some help cleaning cages, LOL.
Actually, though, I replied, as you post has been up for a while and is fading further and further down the list.
I would suggest that you re-post the message about once a month until you find the mentor you are looking for to help you get your permit.
If you post it regurally in the New Posts, someone will find it and help you out.
