I belive Steve Irwin shouldn't just be remembered. Though noone will ever be capable of replacing him in history, many can build up the opportunities to follow his lead. Though his methods were quite unorthodox, he did a great job for the developement of herpetoculture in his country, and as they said on his memmorial "HE CHANGED THE WORLD".
I think he'd be happy to be remembered and honoured by following and continuing his work.
