Hey,
A researcher at a canadian film company company contacted me. They are doing a documentary on "people who did things because they saw it on tv and in the movies" ...
long story short is that she's talked to a guy who did the 'cut and suck' on himself because he saw it in an old western movie, but can't remember which one.
do you guys recall seeing snakebites in movies, and 'cut and suck' treatments used? if so do you remember the titles of the movies?

I remember an old movie with Cary Grant called "Father Goose" where he did the "cut and suck" on the ankle of a woman that they thought was bitten, but it turned out she wasn't. Marty

I seem to remember seeing someone cut open a deer and take it's liver to "soak up" the venom from a NASTY garter snake bite. the movie was based on a book but i can't remember the title, i'll try to get it from a friend.
