I have seen Dr. Bush on animal planet.
How is he rated as far as snake expert and treatment.
Who are other experts in snake bite treatment?

Dr. Bush is, in my opinion, top drawer. He knows his snakes & I know of noone better at treating dangerous snakebite.

I'll third that. When I spoke at the Biology of the Rattlesnake Symposium at Loma Linda University, I had a chance to spend some time with Sean and I was completely impressed by his knowledge of treating snake bites (and that doesn't just include those from his area; he's very well versed with many snake bites). he knows his stuff and is one of our listed expert consultants in cases of severe envenomation at our facility.

Other experts in the US: Jude McNally and Leslie Boyer, MD from Arizona Poison Control, Rick Dart, MD from Rocky Mtn. Poison Control, Stephen Seifert, MD from Nebraska Poison Control......... There are quite a few others. I would guess though, that there are less than 100 snakebite specialist MD's in the US. If you want to find some names, go to PubMed.com and search through published snakebite data.
