The way I found a coral before was road crusing in the summer, and found one crossing a dirt road at like the twilight hour between afternoon and dark. I was unable to get a picture for the fact it was pretty dark that snake moved very quickly in the grass.

A good friend of mine found two this week at work. about five days apart, both in the same spot, within six inches. I suspect the first was a female, the second a male following the pheromone trail.

LOL I here ya man, I dont practice it (I prefer deep woods walkin, and dixi tin flippin) but I understand It can be quite successful in the right areas. All this talk, man, I need to get some more corals! I really love the species, I wish that there was enough planet left to keep there populations growing, but unfortunately its the reverse. Cmon buddy, dont u like having a nice clean yard for only pennies a day???

They do seem to be able to survive in an urban setting. I have had a number of snake calls where there was no woods or vacant lot near the house & yard the coral was in. As long as there are planted areas & lizards & burrowing snakes and fresh water available, they can make it.
