Where can you buy neos on the internet? Do they have a website? I found the website for neodesha plastics but was unable to find anything about snake cages. Thanks for your help.

They are long out of business.
Search EBay for folks selling used ones.
Also, rarely available in classifieds here.
You might want to post wanted ad here for them.
Also, on junk websites like Kingsnake.com.
Hope this helps.

Hello J.R. Bob Dobbs. I don't believe Neodesha makes any more cages. You can sometimes find them used in the various reptile classifieds. But, you might want to talk to Alan Hall @ JungleHabitatsplastic. He has made a cage just like the old Neos. Check them out at this link:

Hope this helps.

check out herpcages.com
they're cheap, he's usually pretty fast, and they're actually nice cages.
jungle habitats is at least 2 months behind from what i've read on other boards, but is known to do good work although it kind of irks me what some charge for cages.
you can always get the materials and do it yourself. you'd actually not come out much cheaper at all when compared to the herpcages.com prices (concerning plastic cages). to build a couple of 24x12x12 cages, you'd need about $150 in materials unless you can find killer deals on plastic sheeting. it's actually pretty easy and since you're a carpenter, it really shouldn't be hard to pick up.
even thermoforming is pretty simple. it blew my mind how easy it was. you can build a nice plastic cage much quicker than you can build a wooden cage and it's much less messy

Yes I was Behind on cages as I have had over 134 orders placed since Jan 1 2007, The current wait has now got back to reality with about 3 weeks on shipouts. When you build a great product things will happen and demand will outweigh supply so there are times that you just have to wait or shop elsewhere. I dont like having long waits but sometimes things happen.
On another note if you are interested in the Slanfronts i make feel free to drop me a email and ill be happy to go over things with you on them

Ive made some really nice wood cages that are very secure but they are all large, heavy and bulky. I was just looking for something lightweight and stackable. Ill look into plastic sheeting. thanks for all the help.

so did the gentleman in this thread ( http://thereptileroom.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=10794&pid=109649&st=0&#entry109649 ) lie or has he really had to wait twice as long as he was promised?
IMO, when you charge top dollar for a product, you SHOULD put out a top-notch product and you should also make good on your promises.
i'm not knocking your product at all since i've heard nothing but good things about your cages and their quality, but you make it sound as if waiting longer than promised is not only OK but should be expected. when people complain about that, they're labeled as impatient and are made out to be the bad guy, when they're not.
i'm ready to kill someone when they've had my money twice as long as promised and i've got nothing to show. it kinda makes that person looks a bit greedy.

Actually i didnt say it was OK or it was NORMAL to wait that long , BUT life has a way of not being predictable.
Now when something is damaged in shipping i STOP and rebuild Asap any damages etc and send out asap as the person should not have to wait to long for a replacement cage. That coupled with a tornado and High winds the week before last also stopped progress in the shop to a hault as i had to repair the roof that was damaged. Also I HAVE not made anyone seem like a bad guy EVER about a order. And ill say there were a few orders that got delayed but they will GET exactly what they orderd and they also get sent a Gift certificate for $50-$75 depending on the order and situation to use on the site . Being A one man shop and with the volume of orders i get a weekly / montly basis for cages & racks Sometimes things get backed up Also when i have a show thats been scheduled i have commitments to withhold on two ends sometime i come up short but i do ALWAYS deliver and have yet to have anyone dis satisfied once the product is there. Along with over 30 cages offered and more added monthly i have a VAST offering of cages etc when cages get built theres a method to the madness and its outlined on my website of build schedules so without hearsay and no first hand experience I appreciate your concern and trust me I am always working on ways to get things better but due to the cutthroat world of caging and the delicate methods of shipping hiring a full time crew is not logical as they wouldnt be enough to work them full time and perosnally i dont trust letting people who have no skills or passion go screwing up cages as it only takes one mistake for someone to cost me a sale so when its in my hands its on my hands . and no one can be held accountable but me .
So if anyone would like to pose more questions feel free .

Alan sounds like a man I would do bidness with if I were in the market. Anyone who offers "Venomoids Suck" Tee shirts can't be all bad. The cages on the site are pricey, but when I think back to what I paid for a 48" Neodesha with glass front almost 20 years ago, he's probably right in line. I still have that cage, & it still works fine, thank you.

Just one thing being the mention of the cages being over priced or priced high ..
The T421 48x24x12 cage use to be $155 + shipping
This old price was bare cage nothing added shipped it would run between $170-$195 depending on where you lived (shipping to west coast is highest price on this size).
the same cage is now $228.95 shipped
BUT the options are as follows on this cage:
11x23 Ultratherm heat pad
2-3" vents
2-thumb turns or two cam locks
or the standard thumbturn thats always been on them.
now should you want the bare cage the price is 190.95 shipped anywhere in the use ...
still comes with your choice of locks / thumbturns on this price .
The taller cages are indeed more when shipped FED EX etc but if you notice the prices are all within the same price range of the 421 cage shipping on the large cages runs from $75-110 depending where it goes . I also always offer to ship freight on items to reduce shipping ESP on larger cages in more then two etc as the shipping gets cheaper freight then. I still believe it or not get told by customers they cant believe how much less they got there cages from me then from others . I often do bend over backwards to get things to people or get them what they need. I am human I will make mistakes ... Things will be late from time to time I will apologize make things right and move on that all i can do im only human. I would love to say I will never be late on anything , I will never do anything never is along time but all i can say is you will get one of two things when ordering from me
What your ordered or your money back its plainly stated on my site I make a meager living at this and if you were to ask many that may know me i work almost NON stop from sun up till many a night after midnight before i step out of the shop to goto bed . My JungleHabitatsPlastics does more then just cages also so its more then one hat being worn during a seven day week .
Regards
Alan
